For all my people that love to build things out of old beat-up stuff, do I have a knob for you!
The distressed Eclipse knob is scratched and dinged in a lovely, even way that suggests they've been moved from bedroom to practice space to stage to studio time and time again. These are the kinds of knobs you'd find in the attic of your late uncle, the one who has a early synth with LSD hidden in the controls.
Here's what you need to know:
These knobs still have aluminum dust on them from the aging process. I was tempted to give them a bath, but I figured the end user would prefer to clean them themselves. Before cleaning, these knobs will turn your fingers grey like graphite from a pencil.
Two black hex screws secure the knob onto a 1/4" (6.4mm) shaft pot.
