Description
We call this the "Medium" Fairchild Pointer Knob, but let's be real: At 51.5mm, end to end, this is one heckin' big knob. Mix and and match it with our "small" and large" sizes, or just let this shiny, sturdy pointer knob dominate your gear all on its own. It's got all the classic, mid century vibes your gear needs to pull off a coveted retro look.
The Fairchild Pointer Knobs owe their distinctive look to the knobs used on the Fairchild Tube Compressor 660-670, one of the great tube compressors of the mid-twentieth century and a rare find today, as fewer than 1,000 were built in the 1950s. These audio control knobs are perfect replacements for vintage radio projects, audio gear, and any build that evokes that Western Electric aesthetic.
Made of durable phenolic plastic for 1/4" smooth shaft potentiometers.
