If you're able to catch a glimpse of a clear night sky without light pollution, it might look something like this month's powder drop color: Starry Nightshade.
This finish features a prominent purple metallic flake over a black base that reveals a rainbow shimmer when it catches the light. (Ironically, this color absolutely POPS on a sunny day.)
This ever-changing finish opens the door for a myriad of possibilities. Gold aluminum knobs like the Hi-Fi and Mid-Fi pop against the glimmering finish, while Oxblood Davies 1470 and 1400s evoke the mystery of deadly nightshade berries. Note: Due to the nature of this metallic flake, there may be some small bubbling present in some of the enclosures.
Just for fun, we did a little extra research on "nightshade", and found that it can refer to:
1. Atropa Belladonna, the toxic plant you can use to slay your enemies (or dilate your pupils, apparently)
2. Tomatoes, eggplants, potatoes, and many other edible fruits and veggies
3. A Pokémon move
4. An anti-AI program that "poisons" images to prevent AI from stealing art
5. The other 2,300 or so species of plants in the Solanaceae family
6. An underrated superhero from DC comics
