Description
Make swapping your prototyping projects easy and near instantaneous. It's so easy to unclip your current project and pop in a new one.
How to Use:
1. Assemble The Mother Breadboarding Swap System following the downloadable User Guide.
2. Attach the Breadboard Butler breadboarding module, a perfect fit! (Buy The Mother Kit and Breadboard Butler together and get $20 off your order! Discount auto-applies at checkout.)
3. Patch the module's power and signal Input/Output to the labeled socket just below. The Mother then routes these to both the LEFT and RIGHT sockets that flank the breadboard loading zone. Use these LEFT and/or RIGHT sockets to feed your breadboard and off you go.
4. Swap! When you're done with your breadboard project, or when you need to switch to something new, mid-project, just disconnect the patches from the LEFT/RIGHT sockets, release the little spring clips, and lift off your breadboard (parts still inserted) to replace it with a fresh one.
What breadboards should I use? The Mother works best with 830pt breadboards configured in sets of one, two, or three. When combining more than one breadboard, The Mother is expecting a single rail between each main breadboard piece and a single rail on both outer edges. Check out the images on this page to see examples.
The Mother Breadboarding Swap System Kit and User Guide is produced by Huntington Audio Labs, which makes cool stuff for people who are really into experimenting with circuits.

What is a breadboarding module? A breadboarding module is an attachment to a breadboard that delivers power, input/output jacks, switches, and other time-saving stuff to a breadboarding circuit that you are working on. The Mother Kit was designed for the Breadboard Butler module.
