Description
Did we just discover a cheat code for pedal building?! This Component Selector Kit is a cheap and easy way to quickly evaluate up to 12 different components in a circuit!
Try all the values! Whether for resistors, capacitors, diodes . . . you get the picture. Pop them in and out with the press of a button. Listen for changes.
Want to know something this can do that most selector boxes can't? You can try stuff in parallel as well! Y'all diode clippers know what I am talking about. Imagine all the different combos of sounds you could flip through with this!
The Component Selector Kit features multiple socket types for mounting components of varying sizes. In addition to the screw terminals and machined SIP sockets, each component row (from A to L) features a board-flush plug socket that will accept thick leads with a diameter of .6mm up to about .9mm. This comes in handy when you've got a component with leads too short to reach the screw terminals and also too thick to fit the SIP socket.
And if all of the above hasn't convinced you yet... Here's why we think it's so crazy-important to be able to quickly toggle between sounds. The human brain can only remember a sound for about 3-4 seconds. So, by the time you've swapped something out in a breadboard, you've already forgotten the sound you're trying to compare. (It's called Echoic Memory!) With this Component Selector Kit you can instantly compare dozens of sounds.
